OUR MISSION
ABOUT US
The mission of the Charles H. Diller Jr. Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership (the Diller Center) and Innovation is to develop both the skill set and the entrepreneurial mind set of students at Shippensburg University to recognize and capitalize on business opportunities.
Student-Made is an experiential program that partners with colleges and universities to identify, engage and support creative student entrepreneurs of all kinds. Through the creation of an online marketplace, student Creators and Managers learn tangible entrepreneurial skills.
WHAT WE DO
-

GROWING SUPPORT FOR STUDENT BUSINESSES
Student Creators are being promoted more effectively to customers within our campus community.
-

HANDS-ON EXPERIENCE FOR STUDENT MANAGERS
Our Student-Manager Team works in a real company environment to grow Student-Made on campus.
-

ACCESSIBLE FOR THE WHOLE CAMPUS COMMUNITY
Students, faculty, alumni and parents have the chance to support student ventures like never before.
The Diller Center stands ready to mentor, support, and encourage any student, staff or faculty member who wishes to strike out on their own with an idea. We are laying the groundwork to launch successful businesses, ventures, and contributions to society.
A Catalyst for the Entrepreneurial Mindset
Our Growing Network
Being part of the Student-Made network of campuses means our entrepreneurial students have access to supporters far beyond campus, and our manager team is collaborating with other student teams across the country.
